Imagine a video snapshot of one intersection in one of the busiest cities in the world. What would you expect to see? Well, you don’t have to imagine it, as this video depicts the corner of 28th Street and Park Avenue, New York City.

It happens every day, in every big city across America, and beyond. People in a hurry to get where they’re going, behaving as if they are the only one on the road. Or at least, the most important one on the road.

Of course, it happens in any community. But in the big city, there are a lot more people, and a lot more traffic. In short, a lot more opportunities for ‘fudging’ the law to result in bodies and machinery colliding in a life changing moment.

This video, ‘3-Way Street’, is the School of Visual Arts thesis project of Ron Gabriel, who recently graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree. Congratulations Mr. Gabriel.
